I've recently come to Uncyclopedia, and let me just say that it looks really awesome(butt kissing ends here). But I've noticed how people seem to own articles to themsleves and put in their own stuff, and so they might be picky if anyone adds something to these articles. Lately I've gone around contributing to articles I feel are lacking something, but I thought I might check here first in case I pee somebody off before even generally getting stuck in. So, is it okay to contribute to articles? Must I talk to the supposed article owner before contributing, or should I not bother contributing at all? --Garionepsilon 18:38, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Most people have no problem with other people contributing to articles they've written. Though the original author (if there is only one) usually tends to have the final say over what's in it, the worst that'll happen is that they might not like it and you can discuss it on the talk page. Or you might want to discuss major changes on the talk page first to see if anyone cares, then go ahead if nobody turns up to disagree with them. Spang talk 19:00, 26 Nov 2007
Just avoid revert wars and try to be funny, and everything will be ok. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon Baloon(Tick Tock) (Contribs) 21:49, Nov 26
Of course these people are assuming you've already got your Uncyclopedia contribution license, which you can get by completing Form_R-99PFO. --Strange (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 23:55, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

License? I didn't know there was a license. *panics* But yeah, thanks for clearing this up. I'll put any big changes in discussion, and see if I get the go ahead.--Garionepsilon 13:26, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

If you think it's good, go ahead and put it in. Nobody will be likely to check the talk page and actually care unless they have the page itself watchlisted. And if they're already watching it, they'll take the liberty of reverting any edits they don't think are beneficial to their precious article. Besides that, this wiki is free game, so long as you don't vandalize. Enjoy. Sig_pic.PNG Unsolicited conversation Extravagant beauty PEEING 01:06, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of vandalising. I do, however, prefer to add some one-liner things to existing things. Dunno if that's okay, but iit must be if they're still there.--Garionepsilon 08:54, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Take your time. Think before you type. Bring donuts. With these three simple steps, soon you'll be running the place. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 22:43, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
K thanks. Glad that this is all cleared up now. I'll start reading up on how to do all the good stuff and see what good I can add to some articles.--Garionepsilon 09:58, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
One last warning. DO NOT CROSS INTO THE LIGHT. That's Olipro with a flashlight and a huge cucumber. ~Jewriken.GIF 10:02, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Ghuh?? I don't get most of these jokes, but I assume they're funny. *laughs*. --Garionepsilon 10:12, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
You won't be laughing when you actually get them, believe me. Unless you laugh when filled with UTTER TERROR. Then you will be laughing. Hahaha! Sig_pic.PNG Unsolicited conversation Extravagant beauty PEEING 23:40, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Ok...thanks for the info. I've started rewriting a article that needs rewriting, so hopefully I can get in some practice and spruce it up. Again, thanks for clearing up whether or not contribution is okay.--Garionepsilon 08:55, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
