Late Stinking Breaking News

You can now link to Wikipedia pages directly with [[wp:name of page]]. For example, if you wanted to read their article on Uncyclopedia, you would type [[wp:Uncyclopedia]] and it would look like wp:Uncyclopedia. I think it's called a hotcat or hotdog or hotburninglovepotato or some such thing. I didn't make it, but it works. WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 06:42, May 12, 2012 (UTC)

This is actually a follow-up to Forum:HowTo:Link_to_wikipedia_and_other_deep-sea_anomalies. Sophie wouldn't let me edit that page, but if some admin can link it to this or some such, that would be great. WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 07:13, May 12, 2012 (UTC)
Wait, why? Huh? What was wrong with the previous ways? ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usSat, May 12 '12 11:41 (UTC)
Also, the forum isn't protected or anything, there's just a javascript trick that fixes the edit tab. Here, try this. ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-usSat, May 12 '12 11:45 (UTC)
Thanks, edited. Weird thing is as soon as I saw there was a way to do it I did it, only I did it by "editing" history. I didn't know that was possible until now. It doesn't actually change the history, just lets you edit the page. WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 16:55, May 12, 2012 (UTC)
Nothing wrong with other ways; this is just a little shorter and quicker. There's more than one road to the mountain top. And other wise sayings. WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 16:57, May 12, 2012 (UTC)
But we had actual pages that started with wp:. Now where are they? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy 18:03, 12 May 2012
I don't know. I just did a search and didn't see any. But like I said, I didn't make the wp: thing just wanted to let people know about it. WHY???| loves Lyrithya! 18:34, May 12, 2012 (UTC)
