Forum:Crisis on Infinite Forums: Chaos Ensues as Massive Amount of Forums Are Unarchived
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia
I think it has something to do with Wikia switching from "20 May 2013" to "May 20, 2013". 17:46, 7 September 2009
- Oh wait. I just figured it was unarchived because it was missing the {{forumheader}}. Never mind. 17:54, 7 September 2009
Okay, but Template:Recently_featured is still broken. --C:\syndrome\_ 13:00, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
- It is? Hmmm, now you mention it. 13:01, 9 September 2009
- Template:FFA/include seems stuck too. 13:35, 9 September 2009
- It looks like that template is just taking the date from the "current" feature (note there's no feature for today) and subtracting a year from that. --C:\syndrome\_ 17:15, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

More things that are broken
Okay, check out Uncyclopedia:Best_of and search the page for "9 September". It lists, like, 5 articles featured on 9 September 2008, including a user page. WTF, gaiz? I tried to verify whether or not there's a feature for 9 September 2008 but it's kinda hard to tell now. --C:\syndrome\_ 17:25, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
- It appears that the data for 2009 is generated by the {{FA}} template. Therefore, improperly used {{FA}} templates can mess with the data of that page. This does not have to be intentional, mainspace article transclusion can put templates where they don't belong. The 2008 data was manually inputted, so I assume sll errors there are do to manually copying false positives.
- For the multi Sept 9th articles, I would guess it may be due to code substituting the FA template or extra parameters in the template. I assume the extra Sept 9th features will all return the current date. In fact, Please delete this page is the only false positive that doesn't have code substitution or extra parameters. Unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with the FA, so I'll let somebody else fix it, lest I break the wiki.
- Also, For some reason, User:MrCleveland is appearing in the list. That page did have features transcluded into it, but they were removed a while ago. Therefore, I wondering if altering the FA template (even to correct errors) will mess up the list. --Mn-z 18:24, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
Fixed them all. And tidied up all the other past features pages. You're welcome. Also, it might be a good idea for people to keep an eye on changes related to featured pages here: Special:RecentChangesLinked/Category:Featured • Spang • ☃ • talk • 00:14, 10 Sep 2009
- Oh and also remember to never subst the FA template, or have it on things which weren't featured. It messes up those lists. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 00:15, 10 Sep 2009
- You're my hero, Spang. It's just a shame that there was no feature for the 9th. --C:\syndrome\_ 00:33, September 10, 2009 (UTC)
On a related note, there are 3 user pages in the Featured Articles category. User:Sliferjam/Sliferbox User:TechieRefugee and User:Wakkoswish123, each apparently misuses a featured template. I would fix them, but I lack the authority to edit user pages. --Mn-z 13:42, September 10, 2009 (UTC)
