OK, it appears to be fixed. If you still see problems, please clear your cache. And if you still see cats, I think the solution to that is to nag Puppy -- {{User:Sannse/Sig}} 19:04, January 21, 2013 (UTC)

:I half thought, I really did, that wikia would take this opportunity to be smart-politic about this, and use the excuse that the code was semi-shot to keep the warning page off for good ("it's being handled, maybe next month"). That's what diplomats would likely have done, and easily gotten away with it. Too bad, and not smart to put it back. Oh well. [[user:Aleister|'''Aleister''']] 21:48 21-1-'13

There is a cat picture on every page. What do I do? 198.62.219.6 18:56, January 17, 2013 (UTC)

What browser are you using? I see a problem with Firefox. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 19:11, January 17, 2013 (UTC)
There may be some JS errors around at the moment. They are intermittent, and only a few people are seeing them (which is making it hard to track them down) but we're working on it (I'm not sure if this is connected, but if it relates to the content warning, it may be) -- sannse@Wikia (talk) 19:36, January 17, 2013 (UTC)
There is certainly a content warning on every page (which generally is not displayed). Given current trends, it could be worse. There could be a pregnant belly on every page. Spıke ¬ 19:41 17-Jan-13
Sometimes when I copy and paste suddenly I'm pasting the entire content warning. Please confine the ridiculous warning to the warning page. Let our people go and all of that. Is wikia at least having a sit down meeting with the topic on the agenda "Perhaps we made a mistake", and discussing getting rid of the warning? This is 2013, not 1813, where you'd be sentenced to years in hell and in jail for what we show here, but now? IP's are seeing cats on every page. Wikipedia shows much worse than cats on every page. Why not be nice and give the site to the users and even help them out with things? Jeez, why do you want to keep the site when you could just redirect everything to the other site. Rant, rant, rant. Aleister let our people go
This site is better than the other site because it has more UnNews. --Mn-z 20:07, January 17, 2013 (UTC)
This is true - we have excelled at UnNews here thanks to you. Hmmmmmm, talking of. Aleister let our people go
I've turned the content warning off until we fix this. Which hopefully won't be long, it's a high priority bug. Aleister my love, it's really not necessary to bring the same arguments to every thread. I'll join you on a dedicated forum (although I'm pretty sure we covered this on the forums about the fork), but I'm not gonna get derailed here. -- sannse@Wikia (talk) 20:36, January 17, 2013 (UTC)
I just don't like being called 'immature' if I log in, though if a user finds one of Mnz's Preggo articles....hmmm.hmmm. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:10, January 18, 2013 (UTC)

OK, it appears to be fixed. If you still see problems, please clear your cache. And if you still see cats, I think the solution to that is to nag Puppy -- sannse@Wikia (talk) 19:04, January 21, 2013 (UTC)

I half thought, I really did, that wikia would take this opportunity to be smart-politic about this, and use the excuse that the code was semi-shot to keep the warning page off for good ("it's being handled, maybe next month"). That's what diplomats would likely have done, and easily gotten away with it. Too bad, and not smart to put it back. Oh well. Aleister 21:48 21-1-'13
Well, the code wasn't semi-shot. One of the servers was caching the wrong version of the site JavaScript, which was affecting the site in various ways for those unlucky enough to be assigned that server (as I understand it)
I'm still hoping to come up with a better solution than the content warning, in the long-term... but I don't know what that might look like yet -- sannse@Wikia (talk) 17:25, January 22, 2013 (UTC)
