Ten years already? Damn I'm getting old. But seriously, let's give a few moments of silence... Nah just kidding. Let's just praise those who gave their lives on that day (police and fire department), mourn those who died, curse on the terrorist-pieces-of-shit who were responsible for it, and support for those soldiers willing to put their lives at risk to stop terrorism. Oh, and praise the those Navy SEAL dudes death of Osama bin so fucking gay laden; may the bastard stay dead.

Humor is welcome, but don't be too offensive. Or too serious--Iwillkillyou 333 TALK What's it like to be a heretic? 21:11, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

What happened on 9/11? —rc (t) 21:18, September 11, 2011 (UTC)
George W. Bush had been in office for 234 days. Verily a momentous event. Sir SockySexy girls Mermaid with dolphin Tired Marilyn Monroe (talk) (stalk)Magnemite Icons-flag-be GUN SotM UotM PMotM UotY PotM WotM 21:42, 11 September 2011
Well rcmurphy, where do I start. Oh yeah, it goes like this: A long long time ago, in a area of the world known as the middle east, a radical Islamic group known as al-Queda, decided to hijack four large arial vehicle known as jumbo jets for the purpose of hitting American buildings. The result was the Fall of the Twin Towers and a big booboo for the Pentagon. The fourth one didn't make it's destination because the people on board made it go down to the ground in a badass move to take on the terrorist. And so that, young one, is why we are purging terrorists everywhere as revenge for being complete cock suckers. Whew, I know how to tell a good story, dont I?--Iwillkillyou 333 TALK What's it like to be a heretic? 23:03, September 11, 2011 (UTC)
You forgot the part where 3000+ people were killed.....whoops, by bad. Turns out that was all a conspiracy theory. Everybody survived and 9/11 is now known as the day "Those fuckin' bastards from Irag Afghanistan Iran Pakistan fucked another terrorist attack up again" All a conspiracy theory, from dicks known as Republicans. Yeah..... A (Ruins) 01:26, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
I'll answer RC's original question with the shortened version: some shit happened, which caused somebody to make a big booboo. -- Tinypony Sir "TheSlyPony" Invariably certifiable. 01:30 September 12, 2011 (UTC)
Republicans may be dicks, but Democrats are a bunch of frickin idiots who would rather buy oil from Arab countries instead of drilling on our own soil for it. Seriously, they are just a complete waste of space.--Iwillkillyou 333 TALK What's it like to be a heretic? 03:35, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
Ah, but we hippies have strength in leafy numbers, my friend. Careful, or we'll send our trees after you. :D -- Tinypony Sir "TheSlyPony" Invariably certifiable. 03:58 September 12, 2011 (UTC)
Is that a challenge?

The effects of a virtual wall on me caring about 9-11

Today IRL I went to a 9-11 memorial ceremony (I work as a reporter), put on a solemn face, listened to patriotic music, and ate doughnuts, but thanks to the magic of the internet, I don't have to pretend like I actually give a shit. More people died in Japan. I don't see them celebrating and playing their techno crazy Jap shit. Yet. And where's the memorial for the Chilean miners? They died on 9-11 right? It's Mrthejazz... a case not yet solved. 05:30, September 12, 2011 (UTC)

There's a difference the events in Japan and 9-11. Sure million of people died in the earthquake, but 9-11 was an attack; an declaration of war. Funny how they make events like pearl harbor or JFK's assassination more of a big deal than events like Hurricane Katrina or the Japanese earthquake., but I guess that's how life is. But if it makes you feel better I can play some techno music in memory of all those Japs that died.--Iwillkillyou 333 TALK What's it like to be a heretic? 06:27, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
A little problem there, Jazzy. Fooor starters: None of the Chilean miners died. I'm not that patriotic myself, but I would think everyone, at the LEAST, would feel even a LITTLE sorrow for those dead, wounded, and their family. Only a complete dick (like Hitler) (or you, in this case) would have no regard for humanity (actually, the dickheads that flew the planes, and that bitch Osama Bin-Laden) and not even care about the results of 9/11. Even though I think the media blew it a little over the top, you're just being a total dick. A (Ruins) 01:15, September 13, 2011 (UTC)
I'm going to have to go with MrTheJazz on this one. I don't see people rally like this in the name of the countless numbers of people around the world each year who die from preventable causes, like starvation or sickness. Let's worry about taking care of the living before the dead cloud our judgement. Well, starvation and poverty seem to be issues where even the best efforts of the Govt seem to be insufficient. Those people die because of unfortunate circumstances, not because a monster wanted them dead. Terrorism, on the other hand, is a deliberate, man-made disaster. The reason these attacks shake us more than the deaths of the heavily deprived is the same reason why you'd feel much worse if your loved one was murdered, instead of dying in an accident or illness. These "causes" you talk about aren't as "preventable" as they appear. Go into politics if you don't believe me. --Scofield & Dudes 14:32, September 16, 2011 (UTC)

Socky and IWKY333 are spreading lies.

The real bad thing that happened on September 11th, 2001 was that My Chemical Romance formed and Nickelback released the breakthrough album. --Wilytank can be a pain in the ass. 00:55, September 13, 2011 (UTC)

No

Republicans are buying oil from Arab countries AND drilling on our own fucking soil. Tree-hugging democrats, UNITE!!!!! ...Actually, the point here is that oil in general is a bad thing. We need to switch to greener alternatives: Solar, wind, etc.. They are alot more efficient plus good for the environment at the SAME TIME!!! WIN-WIN, BITCHIZ!!!! A (Ruins) 01:09, September 13, 2011 (UTC) Fuck you goddamn redneck douchebag oil-loving racist old white republicans!!!

Fuck both parties. Libertarians ftw! --Wilytank can be a pain in the ass. 13:01, September 13, 2011 (UTC)
I've got a better idea... -- Tinypony Sir "TheSlyPony" Invariably certifiable. 22:55 September 13, 2011 (UTC)

'Twas a sad, sad night

It was a blatant assault on a building. A mass murder of 3,000 innocent people. What really bugs me is that the meatheads behind this vicious assault on America (I'm not an American, but I LOVE their TV shows) were only too happy to get themselves killed in the process, as it is pretty obvious that none of the hijackers lived to see another day.

Of course, the mastermind who did NOT kill himself, aka Osama Bin Laden, has been shot dead by Navy SEALS (fuck the "Human Rights" whiners, he DESERVED it!), but his terrorist pals would much rather hail him as a martyr and continue waging war against USA and other democracies instead of showing any sort of remorse, or even genuinely mourn him! Terrorism is nothing but a cold, heartless monster, which constantly changes its form. The fact that we human beings created it sets it apart from natural disasters which are completely out of our control. This, Mrthejazz, is why the media, and the general public would be far more infuriated and horrified at a terrorist attack than any sort of natural disaster, however catastrophic it may be.

I don't understand how 1,000 year-old grudges could make people so violently angry that they target innocent people in the name of "vengeance", or God. It's a shame that they cannot see how many lives they've destroyed, all the children they've orphaned, all the women they've widowed. Everything to them is a sort of "necessary sacrifice", and if this is the level of madness they've stooped to, there really is no way any sane person could possibly identify with their agenda at all. --Scofield & Dudes 13:57, September 13, 2011 (UTC)

Where the hell do you live that Human Rights campaigners actually whined? In America, we were all like (well, the republicans were) YEHA LETS GO WHOOP HIS FUCKING DIPSHIT ASS WOO!! YEAHHH!!!!!!!!!!! A (Ruins) 23:02, September 13, 2011 (UTC)
I'm talking about Amnesty International. They always whine. --Scofield & Dudes 10:39, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
