Crystal Kay(ケャ カレツ) was born the illegitimate child of African American servicemen Nathaniel Gates and Okinawan singer Chiharu Tamashiro (Vocalist for the band キロロ)(Pronounced Kiroro). Her father left the scene two days after she was born and no one has seen him sense then. A little known fact is that crystal Kay is her stage name here real name is Curry Gates. She is currently an Employee of Sony. (This means Ayumi Hamasaki dose not like her and she is not invited to her birthday party) she sings J-R&B (Pronounced JAR AND BEE) and J-rap. She is fluent in both English and Japanese, and she is currently a student Of Arabic. She is currently a member of the Nation of Islam. her fans however know her as that black chick that sang the end theme for Fullmetal Alchemist

At the age of 10 Crystal was Abandon by her mother in Tokyo to live life on the streets. She made her way by brake dancing for change and performing in street rap contests on the streets of Tokyo. It is said that she has major street cred and that she might also be a member of the Cripkuza (A mix of Crips and yakuza its part of the Gangsta exchange program) but this go's unconfirmed. she was discoverd by Crunchy Black (Of the Three 6 Mafia) At a Def jam hosted Rap-off in Harijuku. he took her to Sony Executives (After of coarse taping that ass) who were thrilled to have something new and fresh instead of the endless whoring of Utada Hikaru.

After Crystal joined Sony corp she was required to undergo Japanafacation surgery to make her appear more Asian. This was done because studio executives feared that she was "Too Black" for the Asian market.

She has had sex with M-flo and made a record with him. But sadly Much like BoA she thought M-flo Loved her. however it is a well known fact that M-flo has played many female singers (and a few male) to farther his own career. the relationship ended when it was discovered that M-Flo was having an affare with Maki Nomiya. Crystal has sense stated "I ant no playa hate'a but I fuckin' hate that bitch ass M-Flo." and was later seen beating the shit out of Maki Nomiya for "being a bitch ass ho' and stealing her man.". She has since put her romantic life aside in favor of concentrating on her new album and various charity benefits.
