“These snakes are amaizeing”
The corn snake (cornius snakus) is a snake that bears an uncanny, although completely superficial resemblance to corn which is thought to aid in camouflage (and therefore is in no way related to the elephant). Furthermore the corn snake, unlike the corn, is perfectly harmless unless eaten, (which will cause the subject to spontaneously behave like Samuel_L._Jackson). Whilst commonly kept as pets this particular species is still banned from transport on passenger airlines due to the tragic incidence of snakes on a plane.
[edit] Adaptations
This is a medium sized snake i.e not as small as an atom but not half as big as this really big tree. It feeds by sucking the sap out of corn plants and is a common pest to American farmers, causing one farmer to exclaim quite eloquently "I've had enough of these mothafuckin snakes in my mothafuckin field".
[edit] Varieties
Corn snakes now come in a huge number of varieties due to scientists fusing their genes with everyday items.
