Dialects are localised bastardisations of languages. (Or, at least, it is what you will hear asking «What is a dialect?» to someone who is as open-minded as a towel.)
Acording to the theory of the towel, 'scouse' is derived from English, but many assert that it is more akin to monkey talk.
