Attention Whores are people that really want to get in your face and be noticed because - and this is the important part - their lives are meaningless without attention.
Example: Paris Hilton is an attention whore, because what else would she do? Donald Trump is not, because even without his TV show, he still wouldn't give a shit if you paid attention to him or not!
