Buffyliteralism
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Buffyliteralism is the theological belief in the literal truth of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Whilst mainstream Buffyists argue that the series was inspired by Joss Whedon, Buffyliteralists argue that it was his direct word.

[edit] Church of Buffy
Buffyliteralism is practically extinct in the more liberal Church of Buffy, which prefers to focus on the essential truths revealed via the spirit of Buffyness, whilst not getting hung up on how big Sunnydale actually is, and how can it have a port and be in the middle of the desert simultaneously, huh?
Buffyliteralism also includes the requirement of being a I-wont-die-unless-you-shoot-me Buffy/Faith shipper.
Buffyliteralism is the dominant ideology in the fundamentalist Reconstituted International Peoples Church of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Scooby Gang.
[edit] Schism
The Church of Buffy officially broke in two on October 5, 2005 when the novel Twilight was first published. According to legend, the false prophet known as Edward Cullen deceived many of the female members with his sparkles and lack of bloodlust. Ever since that day, Captain Malcolm Reynolds has led the Buffytologists in a holy crusade against the Twilight followers which eventually culminated in the early release of Stephenie Meyer's fifth novel. This action forever ruined Meyer's writing career and was declared a great victory.
[edit] Prominent Members
- Every nerd you've ever met.
- Ron Paul
- Jesus
- Green Day (formerly)
- Stephenie Meyer (before leading the breakaway movement)
Edward Cullen is often thought to have been a member though this has been disproved. Edward is actually a clone of Angel that was turned gay and made to sparkle when rolled in glitter.
