Borg Collective

The Borg Collective is a heavy metal rock band that uses what Wikipedia calls "WikiRock" harnessing the collective musical talent of all their fans. Whether you are or are not a fan of the Borg Collective is not your choice. As their #1 hit song says, "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile."

The Borg can assimilate even you! All you have to do is put on some Borg implants, available in most convienience stores. Also called "headphones." Alternatively, mass assimilation devices are available in eletronics goods stores, under the name of "speakers" or "stereos".

The leader of the Borg rock band, Jean-Luc Picard who calls himself "Locutus" wants to assimilate You. Resistance is futile. As a retired captain of a spaceship, he certainly knows how to command an audience's attention.

[edit] History of the Band

The group was originally formed by Jean-Luc Picard as lead-guitar and backup singer, William Riker on trombone, Deanna Troi as lead singer and official groupie, an alien named Worf on percussion, and a former member of the defunct White Man Group known only as Data on keyboard, though his twin brother, and fellow former member of the White Man Group, Lore plays backup. The original name of the band was The Captain and the Collective, when it was formed in the late '80s, but it was later renamed to it's current name of The Borg after a few lawsuits from a competing band. They've had a few corraborative efforts with other bands like Orgy and Metallica.
