Beckstockia

Beckstockia is a large island nation that is located between Russia and the United States, though some would argue it being more like being between France and the United States. It is one of the Earth's dominant Superpowers with a vast Air Force, Army, Navy and almost legendary Special Forces.

- Beck City - Originally named Jutesbere, it was renamed Beck City, when President Jason Beck came to power in 2001 (It is interesting to note that Beck is the first President in History to share his last name with the country he rules.)
- Port City - Beckstockia's central port, also home of Anyrav Naval Base.
- Habicht Valley - The location of Akira weapons development facility
- Klavier - A vacationing hotspot, the vibrant ecosystem and beautiful coastline attract visitors from all over the World.
- Mt. Täuschung - A mountain located a few miles away from Habicht Valley, Sombra Fortress is located here.
- Sombra Fortress - A heavily fortified Military Facility built during the late 80's it is still an active Military installation today.
- Industrica - A major industrial center known as the "City That Never Sleeps" for its non-stop industrial productions.
- Leyenda Space Center - Beckstockia's central space centre, it was the centre of the Beck Hansen Space Program that was initiated in the mid 60's. It was also used as the launch site for the O.S.L.R.G.
- Guymelef AFB - One of the most Famous Air Force Bases in Beckstockia, it serves as the Home base of Beckstockia's Ace Pilot Squadron
- Krycek Mech Development Facility - A facility dedicated to the development of Military Mechs.

[edit] Early History (1986-1994)
In 1986, President Nickolas Balkov came to power. One of his first Presidential acts was to begin a series of "Military Expansion Programs" in order to greatly strengthen Beckstockia as a Military Superpower. These programs were very successful.
During his 4th month in office, Nickolas decided to assist the freedom fighters in Afghanistan in their war against the Soviet Union, like the United States and United Kingdom, he sent vast numbers of troops and special forces "advisors" to ensure the Soviets lost the war. The Military aid given by the United States, United Kingdom and Beckstockia finally paid off in 1988 when the Soviet forces withdrew from Afghanistan. The remainder of Balkov's Presidency was a relatively peaceful one as he was very careful to avoid conflicts that were not a direct threat to Beckstockia.
The final 2 years of his Presidency went horribly however as he went to war with the oil rich country of Burcogaristan (the conflict rapidly turned into Beckstockia's own "Vietnam" and thousands of Beckstockian soldiers died). Over the course of the war, there were whispers of atrocities being carried out by Beckstockian forces in one of Burcogaristan's neighbouring nation's, Qumar.
In the 1994 Presidential Election, Nickolas lost by a landslide to Senator Gregory Pierce.
Gregory Pierce's first act as President was the signing of a peace treaty with Burcogaristan, this act bought the horrible war to an end and also ensured Pierce's popularity with the Beckstockian people. The remainder of Pierce's first year as President was relatively peaceful, his focus was on more economic reforms and strengthening trading links with Beckstockia's allies-in particular the United States of America.
On the 25th of March 1995 however Beckstockia's peace was shattered when Belka invaded its neighbours-Ustio, Sapin and several others (Belka had also attempted to invade Osea, luckily they were driven back by it's Military.) Beckstockia joined the many other democratic allied nations and other organisations in the fight against Belka.
[edit] The Belkan War (1995)
Vast numbers of Beckstockian forces were deployed to combat zones of the war within it's first few weeks, they fought alongside the forces of other Allied Forces countries in the liberation of Ustio, Sapin and Recta.
By mid April, though, the Belkan advance stalled, and the long, hard push back into Belka began. Through heavy fighting, the Allies gained control of most of Southern part of Belka. Only two obstacles stood in the Allies way of the Belkan heartland, the city of Sudentor, and Stier in the Waldreich's, a mountain range that ran through the center of Belka and where the Belkan forces had retreated to. Rather than split the army in two, the Allies opted to leave three divisions to contain the remnants of the battle-weary Belkan Army, while the rest attacked the main force in Waldriech.
After a couple of weeks of intense fighting, the Belkans realized they could no longer hold the South/North Belkan border, so on June 6, 1995 Belka's military top brass ordered that 7 nuclear bombs be dropped to create an impassable nuclear barrier, killing the population of Stier in the process. Seeing the events unfold before them, the Allies opted not to follow the Belkan forces, and end the war in the north. The remnants Belkan army in Sudentor, took advantage of the confusion following the blasts and subsequent lack of communications (due to the EMP discharge from the nuclear bombs), and attempted to break the Allies' line of three divisions. It was a last, desperate charge. As it could be said for the war itself, the Belkans' luck quickly spoiled. On June 20, two weeks after the nuclear blasts, the guns fell silent.
A few Belkan units refused to surrender, however. Many operations still continued against the remnant forces, until it turned out that they were not fighting for Belka. They had joined with units from all over the world to form "A World With No Boundaries", a terrorist group that intended to unify the world into a single nation. 6 Beckstockian Air Force squadrons joined the group, however they were killed during the Allied assault on A.W.W.N.B's HQ, Avalon Dam in Mund Valley, Belka. A.W.W.N.B was successfully neutralized by the assault.
Pierce's victory in Belka secured his position as President for many years (he was continually re-elected by the public) until the 2001 Presidential Election when he lost to young,charismatic, smooth talking foreign Presidential candidate Jason Beck. (Beckstockia's current leader)
[edit] The Usea Continental War (2004-2005)
Following Erusea's invasion of San Salvacion, and from their invading the other nations on the Usea Continent, Beckstockia joined with Osea, Ustio, Belka, Yuktobania, North Point and Sapin to form the ISAF (Independent States Allied Forces), they entered war against Erusea and began a campaign to liberate the nations of the Usea Continent. The fighting was fierce, but on the 19th of September 2005, Erusea finally surrendered to ISAF and thus the conflict officially ended.
The conflict was unofficially resumed on September 26, 2005 when a group of rogue Erusean officers took control of Megalith, a Erusean Missile Facility off of the coast of Erusea. The Erusea Government quickly contacted the ISAF to let them know that the move was not an official act of aggression on their part. ISAF scrambled a vast number of its fighters in a final operation to destroy Megalith, the operation was spearheaded by Mobius 1 and the Mobius Squadron. President Beck ordered a Beckstockian Special Forces unit to infiltrate Megalith and do some damage to it on the inside to make it easier for the pilots. Mobius 1 destroyed Megalith practically single-handedly and thus the conflict against Erusea was brought to an end.
[edit] The Osea-Yuktobania War (September 23-December 30, 2010)
Following the outbreak of war between Osea and Yuktobania, Beckstockia sent vast numbers of Beckstockian Air Force units into Yuktobania in order to train their Air Force to ensure it would be able to hold it's own against Osea's (There have been many rumours that several Beckstockian pilots actually fought in the conflict in Yuktobanian aircraft as if they were Yuktobanian pilots, however this is unconfirmed). It also sent vast amounts of supplies and resources to Yuktobania over the course of the conflict.
[edit] Battle against the Belkan Warmongers (December 30-31,2010)
After realising the entire war was in fact instigated by Belka, Osea, Yuktobania and both country's respective Allies made peace and joined forces to defeat the Belkan Warmongers responsible for deceiving them all and tricking them into causing great harm to one another. They were victorious.
