[edit] Origins
Ancient Leet has its origins in Proto-Leet, the ancestor of n00b, although speakers of modern leet deny any such relation. There is only one such example of Proto-Leet, from 1azcaux, France:
0mg I 0wn u n00b!
The translation is uncertain, but, using Ancient Leet inscriptions, we can tell that it should translate as "I can't believe that I have defeated you, non-leet!"
The inscription itself is pronounced "/omg ai ound ju: nu:b/".
