:I'm always pleased when others are interested in working on something I've done, and I like to lend a hand to other articles when I can imagine something that will fit (which isn't always). But you're correct, the direction is important, so anything I write I expect will be changed or adapted to fit the author's vision. I'm sorry if you've had some negative experiences here with users that really don't like working with others, there are a handful who prefer to go solo. --{{User:Todd_Lyons/sig}} 11:35, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Happy April Fools day.  :) --T. (talk) 16:33, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm so jealous you got banned by the great T. himself! Jealous I tell you! ~Jewriken.GIF 16:34, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

We love you Todd!

Heh. :) We I love them you all too. --T. (talk) 10:31, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
You should be around more. The children miss you terribly. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 10:41, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
I miss 'em too, but let's be honest -- they've outgrown me, and that's a good thing. Uncyclopedia thrives because new users come out of nowhere, shake things up, and get everyone excited. That was me in 2005-2006, and it was fun. :) If you'll forgive the cheesy analogy, at it's best, Uncyc was like the WWF I used to watch in my teens -- with colourful personalities, alliances, betrayals... and I got to play Hulk Hogan. W00t! The n00bish glory, some good articles, the fake death, the rebirth, a few more good articles, the drama, the sockpuppeting, the burning and pillaging during FFW... I've been loved and hated. But now it's 2009, it's the WWE, and I'm one of those old guys who does the colour commentary once in awhile.  :) I've done all the harm and good I can do for Uncyclopedia.  ;) To do anything really significant here, I'd have to have much more time and drive than I do. So it's better to lurk. Edit a little. Hand out zero-second bans for no good reason. Not really here, but not really gone either. I love the place too much to disappear completely. --T. (talk) 11:38, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Wow. Suddenly I feel old. I started here two weeks before you did. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 11:41, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
You're only as old as you feel. Could I trouble you to pass me my EZ-Walker?  :) --T. (talk) 11:53, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Sorry. Can you speak up? I'm deafened by the fact that I still have no idea what I'm doing. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 11:56, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Fnurdle. --T. (talk) 11:59, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Lose your teeth again? Some dang kids took mine. I shook my broom at them, but it did no good. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 12:01, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
If you come back more often, you could reinvigorate our WWFness with your Mick Foleyness. You could be Toddkind. Just a thought. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 12:58, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
It's a thought.  :) --T. (talk) 13:18, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Reappearance of me

Hello Todd, my favorite Flin Flonighan, I think we have similar senses of humor, and you helped me a lot when I first started writing articles. These days I tend to think more in terms of News parodies and have started writing for the UnNews. I am not sure if you write any them or not, but wonder if you could look over my recent stories, and maybe put me in touch with an Admin over there, that would not mind mentoring me a little bit.

Hi K3vin! It's nice to see you back. I'd be pleased to have a look at your recent work. I wrote 8 stories for UnNews, but none recently as I'm mostly retired from Uncyc. Well... I've written 2 articles this week, but who knows how much longer it will last. I'd like to bump my article count up to an even 100 stories, and then I'll see what to do. --T. Kinsey

I have just noticed that Illogicopedia also have your Kinsey article on their pages. Is this a steal from you ? --Romartus 13:11, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

I cross-post some of my material, however, only my own edits. Any unique changes done by other users at a particular site, remain in the version at that site. --T. (talk) 13:19, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
I can see you removed my Introduction paragraph. I agree to its removal but I put it there to help the page format better with the photo at the top of the page. Can you come up with an 'aims of this experiment' to start this off in the style of the "Kinsey" ? --Romartus 15:30, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
Hey there! I agree that the page looks odd, with the pictures re-arranged (why'd you put Mhaille's at the top and yours down?), but I'd rather that the pictures themselves were rearranged, rather than add new text. Text always has to justify it's inclusion by being funny, rather than a formatting device to consume space and make the pictures look better. Maybe you could put your picture back where it was?
Unfortunately, I can't really think of anything truly funny to add as an intro at the moment. I wasn't sure about the Star trek allusion, and was happy with the smaller intro you'd already produced.
I trimmed the outro because I thought drawing attention to emotional and sexual abuse was a smile killer.
I do appreciate your great effort in putting final polish on this.  :) --T. (talk) 16:00, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

I moved the pictures because I thought the image of the Hamster on the cover was a better lead than the one of Kinsey I had found. I will have another look at it as at the moment the page doesn't look quite right.

I agree that the second intro by me was written in the wrong style . It should be more 'scientific' and I guess Kinsey wasn't a very funny man either ! I may have to go away and ponder on that.

BTW. I am glad you appreciated my additions. Not all writers here are keen to work together on a piece and to accept changes/deletions/additions. I welcome those to my articles if I think it helps the overall direction of an article. --Romartus 07:33, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

I'm always pleased when others are interested in working on something I've done, and I like to lend a hand to other articles when I can imagine something that will fit (which isn't always). But you're correct, the direction is important, so anything I write I expect will be changed or adapted to fit the author's vision.
