Nominate an image you find excellent. Use {{vfp|image=Imagename.jpg|size=123px|name=The Nominated Image|caption=Blabla '''[[link]]''' |credit=ImageCreator|score (optional)}}. Make sure you sign your votes with ~~~~ or the "your signature with timestamp" button on the edit screen.
You may nominate up to two of your own images per week. No more. You can nominate as many images by other people as you want.
Voting: use "For" or "Against" (or some clear iteration) in bold type to specify your vote. Comments are allowed, but excessive discussion/argument is not. Use the image's talk page for that.
Please submit only ORIGINAL IMAGES to VFP. Images from elsewhere on the Internet can be used on articles, but will not be featured.
Unmanipulated as well as photoshopped images are allowed as long as they are original.
When nominating an image, you may place {{VFP}} on the image page.
Do not remove or archive nominations. Loser admins will see to that.
You can see all previously featured images here, or on the archived voting pages: 1, 2, 3, 4.
Please read HowTo:Get Your Image Featured before nominating your own image. You are also encouraged to submit your image to Image Review for peer opinions before you list it on VFP.
Also, please remember we are trying to feature images, not tell everyone how much they suck. Take it elsewhere, and instead of pissing and moaning, nominate a picture you like.

Nom and for. I laughed so hard at this... --User:Nintendorulez 21:29, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
For: Best image on the page at the moment. ---Rev. Isra(talk) 21:39, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
For Hehe, he's wearing a silly hat thing. *Notices everyone staring menacingly*... Erm, I mean "that's a funny picure".--Kenmcfa 21:49, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
For, it was one of the first original pics that I put on Uncyc (for Freedom of speech, natch)...and a friend stumbled across it recently and asked what the thing on his head was; it's a Danish, obviously. Lemon, if memory serves.--SirModusoperandiBoinc! 22:24, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Weak Against. This joke deserves a better picture. If it was anyone else, I'd vote for, but Modus' PS skills are well-proven so the bar should be a bit higher. 23:29, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
To be honest, I'd rather see this not make feature rather than redo it, because as a cartoon that satirized the cartoons that parodied Muhammad (or, more importantly, the reaction thereof) this was my first overtly political edit for Uncyc. Also, it's funny. As this is a cartoon, my 'chopping skills are superfluous (if it was a 'chopped pic, it would be something else. What it wouldn't be is this). As a comic, it works quite well IMO, far better than its pencil-on-napkin origin would suggest.--SirModusoperandiBoinc! 00:21, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
For. Oh my God, that IS a Danish on his head!--<<>> 00:10, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
For. Its hilarious. -- Sir CHolla | CUN 03:45, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Self nom. I made this in response to Wikipedia's awful pictures here. As we are an infinitely better site I think we need an infinitely better picture to go with our policies, even if they are joke ones. Then everyone knows where they are: Uncyclopedia=1; N00bs=0; Wikipedia=-10. 07:55, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Conditional AgainstThis Vote Is To Be Counted As A For If: There are bubbles; The "water" looks like water; It becomes less of an inside joke which is likely to scare away first time users. Zombiebaron reserves the right to determine if these conditions are met. --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 02:13, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
I spent ages on those bubbles, ZB, damn ya. 07:23, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
How dare you! Can I please ask everyone to click on the image to see it in its full glory, bubbles and all, before they vote. Honestly, just because they're not round... 17:21, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
The fact that I had to click the image "to see it in its full glory", and to tell the the "bubbles" weren't dirt on my screen, is yet anouther reason why it shoudln't be featured. Featured images should be funny at Main Page Size (M/S) not at Click On Size (COS). --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 23:57, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
For But I reckon it would be better as an animated .gif. Baby swims - jaws slam down - head flies off - blood everywhere. It'll have 'em on their feet all over Doncaster. --Sir Hardwick Fundlebuggy(Bleat) 07:46, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Against: Oh great, we don't like new users, let's eat babies, that's so funny but not really. On top of that, the image is too big and the quality is meh. --Sirgwax (talk) 15:48, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Weak Against I kinda like the idea, but its almost impossible to see the baby, and I sorta agree with Gwax that the whole eating babies thing aint very funny. --Kaizer the Bjorntakkun(nya nya)(1961 model!)Check out T61! 18:24, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Weak yay. Not particularly funny in itself, but in the context of the acutal Wikipedia images, quite clever. - NewMess1ah 22:21, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Against, it's only funny in the context of the Wikipedia images. As such it would go better on a page, vice standalone.--SirModusoperandiBoinc! 02:51, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
For. I can't explain, but the caption next to the huge jaw makes me laugh. Go figure.--Procopius 02:36, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Don't often Self Nom and For but I'd really like to see this on the front page. :) -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me) 15:15, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Fer He linked me. ooooohhohohh Sliferjam ~ This is my new signature. Cool huh? 16:10, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
For, though you misspelled humor, Mhaille.--<<>> 17:42, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
For. British spelling is more cultured and, therefore, superior to American. Obviously. That's why it was the Oscar Wilde meme and not the Walt Whitman meme.--SirModusoperandiBoinc! 17:52, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Abstain. That it's not two gravestones and lacks a pithy comment on the stone (as was suggested in Reefer Desk) is souring my vote. But I reserve the right to change my mind, again, later on. I do that sometimes.--SirModusoperandiBoinc! 20:17, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
For Not too shabby.. --Kenmcfa 21:39, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Is nothing we do good enough for you? Whaaa! <flees page, crying> --SirModusoperandiBoinc! 02:19, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Against, Agree with RC. Some of the notions of image quality and such attributes people have are diverse at least and utterly strange at most. -Vosnul 08:55, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
I would bet a hundred dollars that if I made an self-nominated an image like this, it would be off of the VFP page in a matter of minutes. --Sir Tripod2282cunvfptalkActive~19:48, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Well duh. That's because it would suck if you did it. 13:06, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Against. Ummm, what the fark? --ANIDNMENOSCWICZ 15:50, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Against. Mhaille, I hate you now. —Major Sir Hinoa(Plead)(KUN) (18:59, 6 October 2006 (UTC))
For. It's brilliant, 'Nuff said, Although it would be cooler if it was actually like a grave in the ground. TheFreed MindSutoththeBlack Mage[FACEHOLE HERE][MUN][YvJP]I am not a rifle. 23:31, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
For. I really need a script that automatically votes "for" any of Mhaille's images. Save time and all that. -- Sir CodeineK·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 12:18, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
I love this image. But maybe a transparent background instead of white would look better in the box. --Keitei, in mourning for the loss of our dear Humour 14:58, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
I already uploaded Image:Deadfunnytomb.png, which has transparent background, but Mhaille wanted his to be featured. So Mhaille, now two people want the .png. :D --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 00:00, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
FOR see previous commment from above user, beaten into voting, the way it should be--Weedwacker 13:47, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Against: As Jamtrousers points out, the humor is in the text; ask yourselves, could we change the text and have a better image or could we remove the text and have a viable image. --Sirgwax (talk) 15:58, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Against: Because the image itself doesn't look like a photo. Where's the grass? the other tombs in the background? the fancy symbol on the grave to show someone almost cared? ---Rev. Isra(talk) 18:32, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Nay. - Very fitting that the image itself is not funny. - NewMess1ah 22:21, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Sympathy For. - Well made image but lazy, not even any grass or mud, just text on grey. not very interesting, or funny either. - Jack Mort | TALK |MUN| F@H - 13:09, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
For. I think it's simplistic nature is where it's true beauty lies. Can't you feel the emotion? --Anyone 15:23, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Against. Just doesn't make me laugh. --User:Nintendorulez 22:18, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Field Navigation
Score:+9 confused engineers
Featured picture candidate
In the United States of America they use the Imperial System, which employs such units of measure as "football fields". The original British form is of measure is "football pitches"; however, in order not to confuse baseball fans it has been changed to "football fields".
Self Nomination and For I made this and it got a pretty firm ingnoring on PHP. So, I'm nominationing it anyway. --SirZombiebaron 22:28, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Nobody uses the metric system in the UK. Not willingly, anyway. 19:24, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
First, For. Second, the caption. Isn't Buffalo in the U.S? Also, the Football field in the background is for American Football, not soccer. I would change the caption to say "In the U.S.A. they use "The Customary System", which employs such units of measure as "football fields" and Bushels." --§.|WotM|PLS|T|C|A 19:48, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Conditional for, if you totally Britain-ize or American-ize it. I don't think there's a 'Buffalo' in Britain (since, y'know, there's not many buffalo there), and proper Brits would never call it a 'field'- it's a pitch. --cdr.thetoastmantlkctrcunf@h 21:59, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Okay you two, I changed it. My original intent was to have an increased "WTF Factor", but I guess this'll do, eh? --SirZombiebaron 17:45, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
For Because he only needs one more vote... and it's quite amusing --OliproAnchorKUN (Harass) 15:56, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Against. Sorry ZB, but I agree w/Osirisx's well reasoned rational. I've pondered this pic and its predecessor ever since they appeared on Reefer Desk, but the idea is still filling me with meh.--SirModusoperandiBoinc! 16:47, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Against. I just dont find this funny. -- Sir CHolla | CUN 19:44, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
