Current Nominations (new stuff at top, prefix votes with * )
SELF-NOMINATION REGULATION: self-nominated articles (i.e. you write an article and then decide to nominate it yourself) must be at least a week old before nomination. Articles nominated by people other than the author can still be nominated at any time.
VANITY REGULATION: Articles that meet the criteria for vanity may not be nominated.
Self Nomination and For This is probably my best attempt at writing an article so far that has been unleashed unto Uncyclopedia. I have improved it a coupla times and all that stuff. --TheFreed MindSutoththeBlack Mage[FACEHOLE HERE][MUN][YvJP]I am not a steak dinner. 07:59, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Against I didn't like it. The Syntax was turned off and tossed to a German, to short.--Severian 12:40, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Against; non-sequiturish conceptualization & too informal & improper article name. --DWIIIOUNCUN 21:26, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Self Nomination and For I consider this to be one of my favorite pages, aswell as one of my best. I started it back in December, and have expanded it to what it is today. --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 00:28, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Against It wasn't funny, and not completed. There was no real repossessin' talk, it just seemed like a cult that drank the Koolaide before getting the message out. --Severian 01:08, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Comment Fine sir could you show me an example of where it is "not completed", as I will hurridly fix it. --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 01:12, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
AgainstAbstain What is NRA? What is a repo? I get nought. --{{User:Suresh/sig}} 11:36, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Comment In the US the NRA stands for "National Rifel Association" (1). Repo is short for "repossess" wich is defined as "Forced or voluntary surrender of merchandise as a result of a consumer's failure to repay a loan as promised". A repoman is the person who forces you to surrender said merchandise. I hope this helps you understand Suresh. --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 00:40, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
An article about armed bailiffs then. My against was a modest protest against anglo-american-centrism. I do not mind articles I do not understand, but to promote, I want them to have some universal quality.--{{User:Suresh/sig}} 00:47, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Against. Only recently I figured out what NRA and repo were. And I probably don't get half the American in-jokes in that article. Down goes americanocentrism. - Sir Sikon[formerly known as Guest] 03:59, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Against. I'm an American. I got all the jokes. I don't think this article is VFH-worthy.--<<>> 04:01, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

For, great! It's a hell of a lot better than what was there before. Shouldn't Yahoo redirect to Yahoo!? Bloopy 07:31, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Comment I think it does. There's no redirection notice (I guess Brad's formatting preempted it) but if you click Yahoo and check the history, it displays the history for Yahoo! with the exclamation. —rc(t) 15:33, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

*Comment You have my blessing. I think it could use some pictures of 6 of the 7 deadly sins across the top, myself, but it's pretty good as-is. (Since Lust is pretty well-represented in the article as it is now, and there are 6 icons across the top of Yahoo!, it'd be perfect!) So wait, if you two like the article, why don't you want it on the front page? --User:Nintendorulez 00:48, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
For on a stick Nin, they don't want it up there because it wouldn't really work as a front page item, what with it not being a proper article and all. Against The jury finds this article, not guilty (of being funny)
For I'm a bit biased 'cos I added a few lines. I think it's definitely featured article material but I agree it can also be improved substantially. For instance "thick-rimed" glasses?
